The LX Boutique hotel was reborn like a phoenix from the ashes of the Hotel Bragança, a centuries-old building in the center of Lisbon near the Tagus River (Rio Tejo in Portuguese). Fernando Pessoa, one of the most important writers and poets of Portugal, would have undertaken his constitutional walks in our streets. The abandoned building was refurbished as a boutique hotel with the idea that it should allow guests to have a true Lisbon experience.

The lx boutique hotel was born from the desire to restore the ruins of a historic building and rather than building a simple hotel the idea was to create a unique environment that spoke the language of Lisbon.

lx boutique hotel is a new trendy boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Lisbon, designed to inspire your Lisbon experience. Comfortable throughout, friendly on the inside, and dedicated to helping you get the most out of what Lisbon has to offer.

The hotel’s restaurant, Confraria lx, was recently included in the Top 20 restaurants in Lisbon by Time Out magazine.

The shooting took me three days and was made in collaboration with the marketing agency WIHP.
