It is with great pleasure that I share one of the most stimulating and significant experiences of my photography career: the work done for the Ara Maris Hotel, a new luxury establishment located on the stunning Amalfi Coast.
A Significant Project
Being selected as the photographer for one of the most anticipated hotel projects of 2024 was a true honor. The Ara Maris Hotel is not just a place to stay; it is an architectural masterpiece that celebrates the natural and cultural beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Every detail, from the exterior to the interiors, was meticulously curated by Spagnulo & Partners, making this establishment a true gem in the Sorrentine landscape.
The Beauty of the Coast
The hotel’s panoramic location offers spectacular views of the Gulf of Sorrento. Every moment spent behind the lens was an attempt to capture the essence of this magical land, where the sea and hills embrace in a timeless landscape.
A Memorable Experience
Photographing the Ara Maris was like immersing myself in a world of light, colors, and harmony. The interiors, characterized by a perfect balance between modernity and tradition, offer a visual experience that reflects the unique identity of the region. The natural light filtering through the large windows creates a play of shadows and reflections that I tried to capture in every shot.
Sustainability and Design
The Ara Maris Hotel embodies a new concept of luxury, attentive to the well-being of people, environmental respect, and the enhancement of the cultural and artistic heritage of the territory. Sustainability is a key aspect of the project, with the installation of solar panels along the rear façade for low-impact energy production. The furnishings and common areas blend harmoniously with the landscape, combining elegance and sustainability to offer guests a comfortable and refined environment.
A Dynamic Cultural Hub
The Ara Maris is not just a luxury hotel but also a vibrant cultural center. In the hall of the structure, the common areas host a captivating art gallery, the result of the collaboration between Spagnulo & Partners and the Nicola Pedana Gallery of Caserta. The exhibitions are periodically updated, ensuring a continuous variety of works and artists, transforming the hotel into a true cultural reference point.
